Valentine Cast

(Setting: Middle of the night. J and I are both asleep in bed.)

Me: (waking up immediately and saying loudly) OMG!!! WHAT DAY IS IT!!! IS IT THE NINTH!!!!

J: (waking up and thoroughly confused) No, it’s not the ninth.

Me: IT’S NOT! ARE YOU SURE!

J: (even more confused) No, the ninth is friday.

Me: (with immensely relief) Oh..good, I thought it was today and I missed my Dad’s birthday

(We both go back to sleep and laugh about it the next day. FYI: My dad’s birthday IS this coming friday.)
