• I’ll give you an example.  you are rolling 2 6 sided dice.  are the chances of rolling a total of 2 the same as rolling a total of 7?  no.  since there is only one combination that will lead to a result of 2 (a 1 on each die) and there are 6 combinations that will lead to a total of 7 (1,6 2,5 3,4 4,3 5,2 6,1).  so in the end on a single throw of 2 6 siders you have a 3% chance of rolling 2 but a 17% of rolling a 7.  what this means for you guys is that your distribution will be a bell curve centred in the upper end of the middle of the distribution.  its shifted since you make all your rolls then add a number, this shifts the peak of the bell curve
