Plumpy Dog = Dinner?
(Discussing various places for our pet to spend the night while we are out of town. And mentioning my sister’s dog Beckham in the convo.)
J: Petsmart can’t be all that bad. Beckham stays there.
Me: Yea.
J: Beck Ham. NOM NOM NOM.
Me: /facepalm lol. I’m going to tell Deidre that you are trying to eat her dog.
J: I wouldn’t say that to D. But I would eat him. He’s all plumpy.
Me: /guffaw
Ribs
Ribs in the crockpot? Ahhhhh yea 😀 Good job babe. Just another one of J’s excellent creations. Can’t wait to go home and try them out!
Party!!! Sundae Party!! (Sang to the tune of the old commercial for Pizza Party Game)
So I had the brilliant idea of having an ice cream Sundae party because…well just because! J had been wanting one for awhile and every time we went to get one, wherever we got it from would fall off the mark just slightly. So I decided to take matters into my own hands.
We went and got some fixins…

India and John
So J and I spent a night with India and John last night. No, it wasn’t a personal night like we would have liked, but it was awesome nevertheless.
It wasn’t hot, it didn’t rain and India sang beautifully.
John wasn’t too thuggish, he was dressed to the nines…and omg is that man short.
All in all, We danced, laughed, and had a great time.

Of Okra and Jellybeans
(friendly debate on the way home from company picnic)
Me: I hate black jellybeans.
Him: I’m not a fan. They are like fried okra where the breading has fallen off.
Me: ????
Him: Both are deformities and they should never happen.
Me: Ah. Black Jellybeans taste like death.
Him: *Laugh* My favorite are the green ones.
Me: Green ones either taste like lime or okra.
Him: *Laugh*
This Is Why He’s The Car Expert
(Lately my car has been acting funny, i.e. turning off while I’m driving. This happened again as I was going onto the ramp to the highway)
Him: Just put the car in neutral and start it up.
Me: (panicking): But I’m going around a corner! I have to brake! And it’s weird to start the car up while moving.
Him: /facepalm
Counter point!
To me dancing has less factors that can go wrong. I think it’s about perspective i suppose because Renee has sisters that make singing look so easy. They all take practice. I will say this and I know Renee will agree marching band and ROTC drill team is harder than both because that includes a huge amount of people!!!
I settle my case! Ha!

Talent Debate
I know, I know, I just posted. But J and I have a little debate. He thinks that dancing is easier than singing (i.e. So You Think You Can Dance vs American Idol). I vehemently disagree.
Him: (talking to Toby) Because dancing is easier than singing!
Me: (having no idea what it came from) /glare
What do you all think? Which is harder? Dancing or singing? I know kids who can sing with no effort whatsoever. Dancing takes training!!!
Something akward hit me this morning
So I was writing my blog today and while writing it I started playing “Don’t Stop Believing” cover by the Glee Cast. I’ve listened to the song plenty of times and I heard the lyrics. Its like if we switch the lyrics around I’m very much a small boy from Mt. Airy, NC and Renee she’s from the big city Louisville. To us small town folks that is very much a big city. Renee’s sister posted on her facebook how funny it is where life takes you and I commented “Tell me about it” I never thought I would be here in Louisville, KY with such an amazing woman and I’m happy.
So I have a question, are you thought you would be in life? Are you happy? What can you do to make your way to it?
